We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
Identify potential projects and lead bidding efforts.
Review project specifications and drawings to send bid invitations.
Manage subcontractor and user data in the company directory.
Oversee material and labor takeoffs for self-performed work.
Collect and evaluate subcontractor pricing.
Establish baseline budgets and project schedules.
Maintain and organize a centralized cost-estimating database for accuracy and efficiency.
Identify cost savings and develop strategies for cost mitigation.
Perform cost analysis for change orders and completed projects to identify discrepancies.
Recommend improvements to cost estimation procedures and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Analyze project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Provide feedback on project proposals to stakeholders.
Assist with design coordination and value engineering (VE) tasks.
Support other project-related activities as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
2-5 years of experience estimating commercial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of the commercial construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Procore experience is a plus.
Valid driver's license required.
