We have an immediate need for a Performance Test Engineer to join a manufacturing company for a 6-8-week contract that is 100% remote. This ideal candidate will have experience running and reporting on performance test scripts with Selenium and JMeter.
Location: Remote, Central Time Zone business hours
This job expects to pay about $50-60/hr plus benefits
What You Will Do:
Develop, script, and execute performance tests using tools like Selenium and JMeter.
Set up and configure testing tools and environments to ensure efficient and effective test execution.
Analyze and report performance metrics, identifying potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with the QA and development teams to ensure seamless integration of performance testing within our testing processes.
What Gets You The Job:
Proven experience in performance testing with a focus on eCommerce or web applications.
Proficiency with performance testing tools such as Selenium and JMeter, with the ability to adapt to similar tools as needed.
Strong scripting skills to automate performance test cases and execute them at scale.
Ability to interpret performance data and communicate observations and recommendations effectively.
