Infrastructure Architect

Schedule: Hybrid - Tuesday-Thursday Onsite - Monday and Friday Remote (No exceptions)

Day to Day:

An Insight Global client is looking to add an Infrastructure Architect to their team. This role will report directly into the Sr. Director of Infrastructure and will be involved with the planning, vendor evaluation/relationship management, installation, configuration, and optimization of infrastructure components in the enterprise environment. This role will work closely with IT support staff to understand the business requirements, evaluate solutions, and resolve issues. The Architect will be focused on 3 key projects for 2025.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in the below areas and will spend their time as follows.

• 30% Cloud implementation, architectural design
• 30% Windows systems integrations and day to day management
• 20% Azure AD, IAM, SSO
• 20% Networking/IT support: basic switch modifications, SD-WAN implementations, firewall administration

Technologies Utilized:

• Cloud: Azure (primary), some GCP
• Firewalls: Palo Alto
• Okta
• VMware

Must Haves:

• 12+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Network Administrator, Network Engineer, Storage Engineer, or Architect
• Experience managing vendor relationships and work with key hardware, software and SaaS suppliers. Experience with outsourcing/offshoring providers.
• Understanding cloud environments: implementing, architecting, and designing
• Currently leverage azure as the primary cloud solution and some GCP
• Previous background as a windows engineer handling system integration and day to day management
• Experience with SaaS Integrations
• Experience with Okta, AD, Microsoft Entra AD and other integrated IAM solutions to work together as a wholistic system
• Networking background to include basic switch modifications, SD-WAN implementations, SAN, and firewall administration

Plusses:

• Experience working in mid-sized organizations

Compensation:

$160,000to $175,000 per year annual salary.
