Drive Corporate safety initiatives by developing, implementing and monitoring programs that drive world-class safety, health and environmental practices.
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety & Environmental (HSE) laws and regulations.
Develop processes to drive continuous improvement of HSE practices.
Work with Facility Manager and act as advisor to the health and safety administration team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Monitor the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards, and training of employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Ensures all regulatory records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines.
Manage the hiring, direction, assessment and development of a team of HSE professionals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Requires at least 10 years related experience.
CSP or equivalent certification preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills that result in effective communications.
Exceptional presentation skills to senior executives.
Strong knowledge of developing and implementing training programs.
Must have proven success in driving continuous improvement in HSE.
Lean and Six Sigma preferred.
Experience with Root Cause use Analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis tools.
