We are looking R&D Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the application of project management methodologies throughout the entire project lifecycle, focusing on hardware and software development in the research and development phase. Key tasks include documentation, specification writing, scheduling, and supporting test and measurement equipment, particularly for cryogenic fridges. The role also involves leading internal meetings, bug triage, process improvement, and various PM duties.

Job Responsibilities:
Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements, system architecture and engineering development plans
Facilitate cross functional teams communication within multiple layers of computing system
Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
1. Minimum 2-4 years experience with ADO
2. Minimum 2-4 years experience with hardware, firmware or software project management
3. Minimum 2-4 years experience/ understanding of test and measurement equipment.
4. Minimum 2-4 years of HW product development experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in engineering (preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering)
Experience using ADO
Experience with Microsoft tools (Powerpoint, word, excel, project)
2-4 years experience as a project manager or R&D engineering manager
Proven project management experience
People management and team building skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
