Top Law firm based in Mineola is seeking an Office Assistant/Receptionist on a temp to perm basis. This opportunity has a lot of opportunity for growth.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of Receptionist experience looking to get their foot in the door with a well-respected law firm.
The position is paying up to $21 and the firm would like to hire ASAP.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate Employee or Attorney
Collect basic client information to brief the Employee or Attorney before transferring the call
Retrieve files for Attorneys as needed
Scan and upload documents into the filing system
Assist with large-scale mailings when required
Log and stamp all incoming mail
Order office supplies as necessary (e.g., Quill, Staples)
Schedule FedEx pickups for employees when needed
Enter and upload data into online systems
Requirements:
Friendly and professional phone demeanor for interacting with clients
Strong customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
