We are working with one of the largest and fastest-growing PE-owned industrial services companies operating in Canada and the United States. They seek a high-impact Sr. IT Business Analyst who will support requirements gathering, business and data analysis, report definition and production using Power BI, helping solution IT and process enhancements and new features for corporate users (Human Resources, Finance, Procurement, etc) and Field Applications. This role will also provide support for existing low-code applications built in Microsoft Power Apps and other platforms, utilizing low-code development for further business enhancements. The role will be part of an IT business team effort.
The key requirements for the role include:
Extremely organized, able to decompose larger problems to plan out process improvement efforts, capture requirements, build business cases, and prioritize efforts based on business value
Strong experience with Power BI for report creation, analysis, and assisting end-users
Experience with Dynamics 365 data model
Experience with Onelake data hub (Microsoft Fabric), a strong plus
Fluent using Microsoft Power Apps and building low-code applications
Willingness to learn new low-code platforms and be methodical in evaluating the appropriate solution for the need
Previous experience with SQL and database models would be ideal
Experience in O&G, Industrial Services, Manufacturing, and Construction
Multi-country support experience - preferably including Canada and the United States
