We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. The Estimator will analyze project requirements, prepare accurate cost estimates, and support the bid process to ensure competitive and profitable proposals. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, and proficiency in tools like Procore to deliver precise and timely estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Analysis: Review project specifications, blueprints, and technical documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including materials, labor, equipment, and overheads, for semiconductor manufacturing projects.
Procore Utilization: Leverage Procore software for project management, documentation, and seamless collaboration across teams.
Supplier Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing for materials and services.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate cost overruns.
Bid Preparation: Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to develop competitive bids and proposals, ensuring all costs and timelines are accurately represented.
Data Management: Maintain and update a database of historical costs, pricing trends, and supplier information for accurate and efficient estimating.
Compliance: Ensure all estimates comply with company policies, client requirements, and industry regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align estimates with project objectives and timelines.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and detailed reports on cost estimates and project budgets to management and clients.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the semiconductor manufacturing industry or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Procore, estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst), and other relevant tools.
Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and materials.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly present and explain estimates to stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cleanroom construction or facilities within the semiconductor industry.

Certification as a Professional Estimator (CPE) or equivalent is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position may require occasional site visits to evaluate project conditions and liaise with clients or contractors. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
