Job Description:

hi5.agency is a full service creative agency with an ego-free and inclusive environment that offers award winning services across Strategy, Social, Creative, Inclusion and Production.

This role is a driven Creative professional with a desire to further develop and lead an experiential team to relentlessly pursue innovation and best-in-class services for our bold partners and clients.

The senior leader focuses on overseeing new and existing business including development and execution of immersive interactive experiences for our partners and clients. Leading IRL events, installations, and pop-ups designed to unearth a memorable connection for brands, products, entertainment and services.

The ideal candidate would work closely with our Strategy, Social, Creative and Production teams to execute experiential projects leveraging their personal network of proven partners and vendors paired with hi5.agency's internal teams and external partners.

The ideal candidate is able to meet deadlines, inspire internal teams and external partners effectively and can excel in a fast-paced environment.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Understand target audiences and design experiences that resonate with their needs and interests
  • Lead the creative development process, including brainstorming, concept ideation, and RFP process
  • Research and propose innovative experiential concepts internally and in proposals
  • Respond to RFPs and lead experiential contributions to 360 campaign proposals
  • Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into tangible experiences
  • Excellent people management skills with attention to detail
  • Impeccable taste with the ability to understand what excellence means for each of our partners and clients in the pursuit of success
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with various agency verticals (social, strategy, creative, production, etc) as well as client partners
  • Experience with how creative ideas translate to practical Budgets and planning ensuring seamless delivery of impactful experiences across various channels
  • Poses an expert level understanding of marketing and social media
  • Promote a culture of innovation and inclusiveness while adhering to agency process
  • Always be punctual and effectively manage your time while communicating proactively
  • Champion your perspective while successfully collaborating with other points of view
  • Monitor and drive project teams to utilize innovation and latest methods and tools to disrupt
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of event logistics and production processes
  • Able to maintain composure and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently handle multiple projects at one time
  • Understanding of emerging platforms and technologies in support of experiential
  • Currently in the possession of an ego-free personality that can work with a highly motivated team to get shit done
  • Lead on-site event execution, programming and performances maintaining quality control
  • Define captivating narratives that enhance audience engagement and amplify brand messages through experiential channels
  • Guest Journey creation with an understanding of safety and compliance standards
  • Offer a gold standard of craft and storytelling
  • Strong creative leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a creative team through the complete creative process without direct management responsibilities.
  • Create interactive elements, environments, and activities that provide a multi-sensory experience for participants
  • Create innovative and memorable ideas and concepts that our internal teams and clients will get excited about
  • Ability to be kind and respectful endlessly

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous agency experience a must
  • 6-10 years within experiential
  • Current and past leadership roles for experiential projects
  • Digital platform experience: Basecamp, Google Products and Slack
  • Expert collaborating and presenting in multi-participant video chat meetings
  • Must be local to LA and extremely connected to the city's culture
  • Significant experience in managing diverse projects, showcasing adaptability and creativity within varied budget constraints.
  • Previous experience and expertise understanding of live event development and management, mobile marketing, sound, lighting, talent coordination, and creative elements
  • Familiarity with industry vendor partners and production techniques, especially in supporting the fabrication of installations and IRL events
