Overview:

This internship will offer a comprehensive view of the moving pieces that make MVP Sports Group's business successful. It is a hands-on opportunity to gain invaluable experience and insights to serve as a strong foundation for your professional career. Your understanding of our standards and commitment to meeting them will help ensure a rewarding internship experience that positions you well as you begin your career.

Goal/Purpose:

Through the MVP internship program, we offer practical learning experiences focused on developing skills, strategies, and knowledge in the sports industry, particularly the business of baseball. Our goal is to build a solid knowledge base for our interns, preparing them to succeed in professional sports environments and, ideally, to grow into full-time roles with MVP. Our internship program also offers unique networking opportunities in the sports industry, where you'll have the chance to connect with active and retired players, agents, front-office personnel, business executives, media members, and other industry professionals at the various events we host throughout the year.

Internship Projects/Activities:

Interns at MVP Sports Group gain exposure to every aspect of our business.

Skills and Projects May Include:
  • Baseball Analytics Research
  • Assisting with Recruiting Presentations
  • Charity Event Management and Logistics
  • Marketing & Brand Outreach - Developing & expanding new brand partnerships
  • Draft Process Involvement (Summer program)
  • Salary Arbitration Participation (Fall program)
  • Social Media Strategy Development to generate press for MVP and clients
  • Social Media Monitoring and Tracking
  • Legal Assignments (for current law students)

Eligibility:

Undergraduate and graduate students, or recent graduates within 12 months of the program's start. Preferred areas of study include Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, and Law, though all with a strong interest in sports are encouraged to apply.
  • Current Students must commit to at least three days a week in our Beverly Hills office.
  • Recent Graduates must commit to five days a week in our Beverly Hills office.

Interview Process
  • The Spring Program will begin on the week of January 6th, 2025
