Job Summary 

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for collecting and analyzing Supply Chain data to help drive improved performance in the Kloeckner supply chain. This role will lead the analyses and work with the business units to identify root causes and make improvements. This role reports to the Director of Supply Chain Services.

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities  

• 
  Research and Data Analysis: Develop models to enhance the operational performance of the Kloeckner supply chain.


• 
  Collaboration: Work with managers to define and implement best practices for supply chain topics.


• 
  Data Management: Maintain structured data for supply chain projects.


• 
  Leadership: Schedule and hold team and project meetings as needed.


• 
  Self-Service Data Model: Create a model for Kloeckner associates to access performance information.


• 
  Operational Improvement: Collaborate with operations to address and improve performance based on ongoing analysis.


• 
  Execution Oversight: Oversee the implementation of improvement actions.


• 
  Support to Supply Chain Director: Assist in presenting findings and recommendations to executive management.


• 
  Scrap Program Management: Manage the scrap program, including data collection and distribution.


• 
  Coordination: Work with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to optimize results.


• 
  Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.

 

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

 

 Other Skills and Abilities

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills


• Analytics software experience


• Visualization software experience


• Strong communication and presentation skills


• Ability to influence, lead, and work cross-functionally


• Ability to strategize and identify the root cause


• Strong understanding of financial metrics


• Training or certification in Six Sigma and CPSM a plus
