The Opportunity
As a Logistics Coordinator with Tradebe you will facilitate communication between drivers and receiving teams, manage documentation, and coordinate the arrival and departure of tankers and roll off boxes. This role combines problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills to ensure smooth logistical operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
Follow all regulations, standards, and internal policies, to ensure Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and promote a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Control traffic by directing and communicating with drivers.
Guard entrance gate of warehouse or other property.
Open gate to allow entrance or exit of employees, truckers, and authorized visitors.
Work closely and communicate with area managers and plant staff to direct drivers inside the plant for all deliveries.
Log and scale outbound and inbound trucks in/out.
Store and maintain shipping documents for outbound loads and ensure the driver receives correct paperwork to transport.
Electronically log and create disposal purchase orders, transportation purchase orders using specific contracts.
Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
Work closely with accountants and accounts payable to ensure all shipping documents are in our database to allow invoice payments to be completed.
Review invoices or parked documents for completion
Track, electronically log, and complete intercompany manifests. Transfer waste into facility. Proof and verify accuracy from paper manifest, update SAP to ensure correct data inventory.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous logistics experience highly preferred
Familiarity with Hazardous waste, manifests, Bills of Lading (BOLs) is a plus
Capable of paying attention to detail and accuracy.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Computer proficiency
Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
Experience with SAP is a plus
Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
Ability to read, write, and understand English
