We are looking for a full-time Manual Machinist to contribute to the success of our operations department. This individual will work in our Woburn, MA, office, as a member of our Assembly and Test team, fabricating parts to meet daily production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate basic machine tools to fabricate parts, fixtures, and assemblies
• Follow all safety and quality requirements for machine shop practices. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Interface with fabrication lead or direct supervisor as required to resolve technical, business, and process-related issues.
• May require specific interaction with ERP system to ensure inventory and job accuracy.
• Work with engineering and other manufacturing personnel on rework and repair procedures
• Execute rework and repair procedures with a high degree of quality and accuracy
• Basic understanding and ability to work from solid models, prints, and sketches, and understand verbal and written engineering instructions
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical/trade school diploma preferred
• Typically 1+ years experience as a Machinist working on low-volume, high mix parts
• Experience with, and functional knowledge of, precision measurement devices; power, pneumatic, and hand tool

The entry level salary for this role is $29.61 per hour. A higher salary and job level may be offered to more experienced candidates.
