The Department of Economics in the Arts and Science invites applications for a tenured position to begin September 1, 2025, subject to administrative and budgetary approval.
Candidates must have outstanding research records; preference will be given to those specializing in empirical applied microeconomics. All candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.

In compliance with NYCs Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $270,000 at the rank of Associate Professor and $250,000 to $350,000 at the rank of Full Professor. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
