Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday 6am-6:30pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves performing mechanical assembly as part of pilot-scale manufacturing of disposable medical devices. The ideal candidate will operate equipment safely, ensure product quality, and contribute to various aspects of production and inventory management in a controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools and automated equipment.
Operate chemical, automated, and assembly equipment safely and accurately.
Package finished products properly and prepare them for shipment.
Inspect "in-process" and "final" product assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
Participate in inventory counts and audits, and communicate findings effectively.
Work proficiently across two or more workstations in the manufacturing area.
Follow written standard operating procedures (SOPs) and document production details with precision.
Interpret quality control results to support final product release.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly using hand tools and automated equipment is required.
Experience in a controlled environment such as ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or FDA-regulated Quality Management Systems is preferred.
Strong ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Inventory control and shipping/receiving experience are desirable.
