Atlas Restaurant Group is seeking a Director of Operations to guide the General Manager & Executive Chef in overseeing all aspects of operations of their prospective properties in Annapolis, Maryland.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver, drive and role-model the company's Core Values and Leadership Principles by translating high profile hospitality knowledge into action.
Improve upon the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization's vision, mission and Core Values.
Ensure that each General Manager & Executive Chef upholds the standards and reputation of Atlas Restaurant Group to better enhance the guest and employee experience.
Translate the overall business strategy into day-to-day execution, providing coaching and feedback to the General Managers and Executive Chefs.
Oversee the planning, preparation and performance analysis of specified location's Profit & Loss Statements.
Partner and work collaboratively with Corporate Leadership on all programs introduced to the field.
Build organizational talent by promoting the development of internal leaders, as well as championing the identification and attraction of high potential external candidates.
Provide guidance to all locations' leaders to help them connect the metrics to business processes and focus on continuous improvement strategies to achieve business objectives.
Interpret data and use analytics to assess and develop ways to improve the operations of the business.
Lead the implementation of process and technology improvements including cost, quality, and safety recommendations for changes and/or improvements.
Participate weekly in high volume floor operations with the FOH and BOH team to understand business and engage staff members and guests.
Participate in Monthly Stewardship meetings with the Executive Team, General Manager, and Executive Chef.
Lead the budgeting process for General Manager and Executive Chef.
Engage in enhancing the performance of second and third tier employees by assisting with training, mentoring, pre-shift discussion, and floor management.
Ensure the database management of Toast (POS), PayDay Portal, Restaurant 365 and ADP Workforce Now with collaboration of the General Managers and Executive Chefs.
Weekly and Bi-weekly labor analysis with the General Manager and Executive Chef.
Conduct monthly Inventory audits, cash and safe audits, and review monthly Opentable analytics
Advise and contribute to final management hiring decisions.
Participate in employee investigations, aligning coaching conversations and the documentation of disciplinary actions
Ensure proper and safe working conditions for all team members across all operations.
Complete other duties as assigned by the executive team/ownership.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to speak Spanish is not required but desirable.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.
In depth experience working with restaurant software such as: Toast (POS), Opentable, Restaurant365, Avero, ADP Workforce Now, and PayDay Portal is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Experience in large scale multi-unit operations in roles with increasing responsibility and scope; prior hotel experience is advantageous
Experience with leading organizational transformation projects and program development
Experience in management at an ARG property is a plus, but not required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or a related field is preferred, but not required

The annual salary for this role is $125,000-$150,000
