JOB TITLE: Operations Support Analyst (Intermediate) REQUISITION #: VA-1280-24-WOI CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret to Top Secret/SCI clearance LOCATION: Dahlgren, VA REPORTS TO: Phil Smith FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt
SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst Intermediate to support Warfighter Operational Integration work with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Dahlgren, Virginia. Provide advisory and assistance services to the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Warfighter Operational Integration (DW), and Sea Based Weapon Systems Program Executive (AB) in Dahlgren, VA, supporting coordination and development of products related to systems engineering activities for current and future instantiations of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) system. Individual will apply Aegis BMD operational experience to advise and support the AB Warfighter Operational Support (ABW) Director, to discover, integrate, innovate, and advocate for the Warfighter in order to support & influence the Sea-Based Weapon Systems community and the delivery of capability.

Responsible for supporting coordination efforts related to various products across MDA elements, CCMD/Fleet commands, and within AB
Advise the tactical and technical community on Fleet BMD mission tactics, techniques, and procedures, analysis, operational employment, and potential integration of future capabilities into FLEET BMD missions and defense design
Provide support to the Aegis BMD Focused Fleet Feedback program
Support the use of models and simulation (M&S) to represent Aegis BMD in MDA approved exercises, tests, and analysis efforts
Support Aegis BMD Warfighter engagements, such as building operationally focused capability briefings
Support baseline training curriculum development efforts; review and provide substantive comments to improve training materials such as Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA), CSCS/ATRC curriculum, Blue/Red Team curriculum, Exercise Control Guides (ECG), and Personnel Qualification Standards (PQS)
Oversee development of Advanced Training Domain (ATD) and Aegis Combat Trainer System (ACTS) shipboard training scenarios for purposes of reflecting real-world defense designs to meet all AOR mission needs, and utilizing new baseline capabilities
Receive, review and allocate tasks with instructions and suspense, track progress, receive task input, review, and prepare submission for decision maker
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical and operational knowledge of the Aegis Weapon System
Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and/or Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) familiarity
Operational naval experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
MDA experience
Aegis training system familiarity
Familiarity with Missile Defense System elements (e.g., C2BMC, THAAD)
Bachelor's Degree or higher
COMPUTER SKILLS: • Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
CLEARANCE: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
