In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.
The Connected Care, Privacy & Security Specialist will partner with and report to the regional Customer Success Manager - Privacy & Security, Connected Care (CSM for DP/IS) to ensure the seamless rollout of Cochlear's Connected Care suite of products and services.
Connected Care, which encompasses a suite of software applications, mobile apps and cloud infrastructure, is a strategic priority for Cochlear that will help increase access to care, optimize outcomes, and transform the care delivery model for Cochlear's recipient and professional customers. This role will be an integral part of the regional Connected Care team that will help more customers obtain access to the innovative Connected Care technology.
Based out of our Denver headquarters, this role will interface frequently with enterprise customers (e.g. hospital systems, clinics, etc.) as part of the pre-sales process to ensure an excellent customer and business partner experience. It is critical to have an in depth understanding of information technology systems and/or hospital IT infrastructure. This engagement will include phone calls and in-person meetings with hospital/clinic IT stakeholders, completion of data privacy and information security questionnaires, and support of security related administration for internal Connected Care operational processes. To be successful in this role, it is important to develop an in depth understanding of current Connected Care Portfolio offerings, configuration, and design along with an enterprise mindset in general organizational data privacy and information security practices.
While this role will be localized to the U.S. and Canadian markets, they will often partner with our Connected Care Onboarding, Implementation, and Customer Facing IT support teams to ensure Privacy and Security customer stakeholders are successful at every step of their journey in supporting clinical partners to help more patients hear and be heard.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to explain data privacy and information security controls confidently and easily to key customer executive stakeholders.
Ability to convey complex data privacy and information security details in a customer-friendly manner to help overcome adoption blockers.
Form strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to help them understand how Cochlear's Connected Care products align with data privacy regulations and industry standards on information security.
Ensure timely resolution of data privacy and information security enquires from customers.
Maintain a sense of urgency with key customers to quickly resolve any outstanding data privacy and/or information security concerns.
Maintain current knowledge of product and market specific data privacy and information security details.
Maintain a proficient level of regulatory, industry, and market-specific knowledge of new developments in the data privacy and information security space.
Have a working knowledge of risk, controls, remediation, and compliance.
Provide feedback to the regional Customer Success Manager regarding potential opportunities to improve the organizational infrastructure and processes used handle data privacy and information security enquiries.
Support both internal and external partners with issue resolution as it relates to privacy and security configuration challenges
Other duties as required that are integral to the Recipient Service's team mission.

Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience with 3+ Years of Experience in a customer-facing role (Sales, Customer Service, Customer Success) OR High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Work Experience with 6 Years of Experience
Experiences operationalizing and or implementing software solutions with customers
Ability to work cross functionally and complete tasks that involve external customers
Security+, CIPP/US, and/or CIPP/C certifications are a plus

Pay Range in the United States: $94,000 - $102,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
