Our Stores are one of the keys to our success.   This position is in our Vail Ski Cafe location at the top of Bridge Street in Vail Village. 

We are seeking a Ski Valet Locker Room Attendant to join our Gorsuch family of retail and ski shop professionals. This is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with an interest in skiing, quality, and a passion for the mountain lifestyle to be part of our team.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Ski Valet Locker Room Attendant to join our team in CO-Vail Ski Cafe 10, COBSC. As a Ski Valet Locker Room Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests by assisting them with their ski equipment and ensuring that the locker room is clean and organized. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory and ensuring that all equipment is properly stored and accounted for.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a customer service role
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a ski resort or similar environment
Knowledge of ski equipment and maintenance
Ability to speak multiple languages
Responsibilities:

Assist guests with their ski equipment, including boots, skis, and poles
Ensure that the locker room is clean and organized at all times
Maintain inventory of equipment and ensure that all equipment is properly stored and accounted for
Provide exceptional customer service to guests by answering questions and addressing concerns
Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Skills:

As a Ski Valet Locker Room Attendant, you will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. You will also use your organizational skills to maintain inventory and ensure that all equipment is properly stored and accounted for. Additionally, your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds will be essential to your success in this role. Preferred qualifications such as previous experience in a ski resort or similar environment, knowledge of ski equipment and maintenance, and ability to speak multiple languages will be beneficial in providing an exceptional guest experience.

Benefits and Compensation 

The Standard benefits for full-time year-round staff include Medical, Life, Disability, Paid Vacation, Paid Sick Leave, 401k, Ski Pass Program, Staff Discount Program.

Full-time Seasonal includes Ski Pass Program and Staff Discount Program.

Part-Seasonal includes Ski Pass Program (partial reimbursement) and Staff Discount Program. 

We offer skier schedules: split shifts, day shifts.  We are open daily, holiday's, weekends when the ski area is open.  

Will work a flexible full time retail schedule that will include one weekend day and some evenings.

Pay Range is $23 to $26.00.   The pay range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this position and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
