GPIseeks motivated Construction Inspectors with varying years of experience working on bridges, roads, canals, utilities, and multi-use trail projects to join our team in the Babylon, NY, office. Ideally, we seek someone with a good work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work collectively with our team, and the ability to work on concurrent projects.

Responsibilities:
Work in the field at construction sites as a QA representativePerform inspections and construction materials testingMonitor project for compliance with the drawings and specifications of reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray-applied proofing, soils, and/or foundation constructionExecute field tests of concrete, grout, mortar, and block, fireproofing, soils, and/or nondestructive testing of welds
Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management Technology preferredAbility to read drawings and specifications, write reports, create sketches, communicate and coordinate with the engineers, contractors, and clients2 or more years of experienceNICET and OSHA Certifications preferredWillingness to work at varying heights for steel and welding inspectionAvailable to work construction hours, including some overtime
