Role:

• Role Overview: As a Systems Engineer on the Tomahawk Project, you will apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle balanced systems of systems and system solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify basic lifecycle balanced systems of systems and system solutions.


• Evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.


• Perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.


• Conduct analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance, and other specialty quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.


• Support and develop the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.


• Resolve cross-functional technical issues.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  
  • Must have Secret Clearance prior to start.
  
  
  • 5+ years of experience in system engineering.
  
  
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as DOORS, Cameo, and mathematical modeling and simulation.
  
  
  
  


• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  
  • Experience in developing and documenting software system requirements.
  
  
  • Ability to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware, and software designs and interface specifications.
  
  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve cross-functional technical issues.
