Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce is hiring a fully remote Data Engineer to join our client's development project. This project is one of the main enterprise initiatives and has been ongoing for 2-3 years now. We will be interviewing for the position over the next couple of weeks for a January 2025 start date. This position will start with a 6-month commitment but will likely extend through year-end (12/31/25). Candidates must be highly experienced and have supported long-term projects in the past.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Deep experience with data engineering/ETL/ELT


• Azure Data Factory proficiency required - building datasets, data flows, and pipelines in ADF (not just maintaining something already built)


• Proficient with python and SQL


• Synapse db & Mongo/Cosmos db proficiency


• Azure cloud certifications and/or past experience


• AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) experience, and ETL related to applications containerized & deployed on AKS (or EKS)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
