Location: Torrance, CA Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee all day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives at our Torrance facility. This role is critical to driving long-term success, improving performance, and ensuring world-class customer support.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the facility's strategy in collaboration with the President.
Oversee and implement operational plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Ensure high standards of customer service and support.
Monitor the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Organize and staff the facility to meet strategic and operational goals.
Establish clear performance expectations supported by job descriptions, training plans, and regular appraisals.
Manage expenditures within the approved budget and ensure effective cost control.
Assess and manage competitive risks while monitoring internal controls and performance metrics.
Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and company standards, including safety and environmental policies.
Foster a culture of accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Essential:
College degree
Experience with commercial airlines
ERP/SAP experience
Background in sales or sales support
Familiarity with customer requirements and airline operations
Strong understanding of business accounting principles
Proven people management and leadership skills
Desirable:
Additional qualifications or certifications related to the industry
