The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support both the Project Manager and the International Operations Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily cabinet projects. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills who can effectively manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders. Our multifamily projects span time zones across the United States, requiring flexibility and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
A day in the life:
Support the Project Manager or International Operations Manager with any task that does not require project-altering decisions.
Organize and upload approved project-related documents and correspondence.
Cross-reference project documents for accuracy.
Issue purchase orders after vendor negotiation has concluded.
Track purchase orders throughout their life cycle until delivery and receipt are confirmed.
Order and track samples from various vendors for current and potential customers.
Data entry into our Project Analysis Tool (PAT). This tool is used for quoting, analyzing and ordering our product
Audit documents and libraries for data accuracy.
Support in the preparation of new Project Proposals and Project Bill of Materials (BOM's)

You own this if you have:
Experience: Cabinets, construction, project management, or woodworking experience (all preferred but none required).
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and willing to learn project management software. Experience with Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and Procore is a major plus.
Communication Skills: The ability to convey information clearly, efficiently, and professionally to team members and stakeholders.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail, driven by standardization and structure.
Team Player: Collaborative passion with a strong desire to work as part of a team and be a part of something bigger than an individual. Owns the drive to elevate all team members including themselves.
