Our client in big tech is looking for a Freelance Project Manager for the sort network team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the coordination, completion, and monitoring of various projects and programs. You will oversee all aspects of the projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely progress updates to senior management. Your ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential to the success of this role.
Pay: $45-55hr based on experience
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and complete projects and programs within set deadlines.
Monitor and summarize the progress of the project/program and provide updates to upper management.
Set deadlines, assign tasks, and ensure team members are meeting their responsibilities.
Prepare regular reports on project/program status for senior leadership.
Organize and maintain project files, including site plans and design documents, ensuring the most recent versions are readily available.
Review project sites and scenarios to understand capacity and resource requirements.
Develop and manage intake processes for reviewing project inputs and pushing for deadlines.
Track project data, conversations, and progress in Smartsheet, ensuring accuracy and completeness for future reference.
Follow up on one-off questions and data inputs in Smartsheet to keep projects on track.
Conduct yard capacity reviews and manage post-launch project data.
Initiate tracking systems to monitor project progress and deadlines.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with providing flash updates on project status, priorities, and deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to create and improve processes to resolve issues and streamline operations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-paced environment.
Initiative to ask questions and proactively seek clarity on deadlines and tasks from other teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Asana and BIM 360 is highly preferred.
Experience working with engineering principles and processes is a plus.
Exposure to large-scale projects and corporate environments, especially within operations, is beneficial.
