We seek an experienced HVAC Hospitals/OSHPD Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex HVAC systems in hospital and healthcare environments. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with stringent OSHPD (Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development) standards and overseeing the design and installation of critical mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of HVAC construction projects for hospital environments, ensuring compliance with OSHPD standards and healthcare regulations.
Guarantee installations meet healthcare facility codes, safety standards, and OSHPD inspection requirements, driving projects to successful approval and completion.
Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to achieve cost efficiency and on-time project delivery.
Review and manage design and installation processes utilizing software tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam, ensuring precision and adherence to design intent.
Build strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and healthcare facility representatives to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial mechanical construction, focusing on healthcare projects and OSHPD-regulated environments.
Proficient in Bluebeam, Revit, Navisworks, and MS Project. Familiarity with building automation systems such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Tridium Niagara, or Schneider Electric is a plus.
In-depth expertise in HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and hospital-grade plumbing and piping systems.
Demonstrates a stable and proven work history in San Jose or nearby regions.
