My client is a 100% employee-owned and family-focused commercial construction general contractor with over 65 years of experience.
They are currently looking for a Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Project Management
Ensure that project information is reviewed and documented on a consistent basis including subcontracts, purchase orders and approval of payable statements.
Document project changes and correspondence through RFI's, submittals, ASI's, change orders, email and mail correspondence
Monitors and control the buyout progress and monthly progress reports to ensure that financial reporting is accurate
Ensure profit objectives are met by ensuring schedules and budgets are achieved
Estimate new projects diligently and accurately
Communicate with owners and designers on upcoming potential opportunities
Field Support
Communication of long-term schedule to subcontractors and suppliers
Assist Superintendents in communicating safety requirements and project changes quickly and correctly
Monitor delivery of materials to the job sites and ensure that the complete material procurement process is being continually expedited.
Project Leadership
Develop a clear and complete understanding of the construction project by reviewing plans, documents and proposed cost information.
Plan ahead to work efficiently by creating a sound completion plan leading the project team to establish priorities, schedule activities and time frames, develop clear and measurable progress benchmarks and assign responsibilities.
Produce clear and complete planning information including timely and detailed owner meeting minutes and look-ahead schedules.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma, or equivalent, required.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related field preferred.
At least 5-7 years' experience in the construction field, preferably in a management role.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to objectively coach employees through complex issues.
Must be able to contain confidential information.
Work well in a team environment.
Experience with Timberline a plus.
