We have partnered with our client to recruit for a Product Engineer to provide leadership for new product design and development while supporting manufacturing. Working closely with sales and customers, the Product Engineer leads the design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacturing for introduction into the market.
Specifically, this position:
Manages Product Development from conception to introduction to the market.
Facilitates the design phase in partnership with the product design team
Validates designs through lab testing and customer feedback, ensuring specifications are met
Provides strategic direction in coordination with manufacturing, quality, sales, and customers
Candidates should possess:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years experience leading mechanical engineering design projects including defining requirements, developing concepts and detailed designs, qualify the product through analysis and test, and support the design transfer to manufacturing.
Experience with metal manufacturing processes including machining and assembly.
Experience with design software including but not limited to; SolidWorks, Auto CAD and Labview.
Experience in flow control product design and manufacturing preferred
Knowledge of APQP, Lean Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturing, and 8D Corrective Actions preferred
