Position Summary
The Paraplanner is primarily responsible for the financial planning process and providing the lead advisor with support. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to developing and improving systems to ensure team members are operating effectively and efficiently, preparing, and implementing client planning objectives as well as monitoring the plans.

Duties and Responsibilities
Client related Responsibilities:
Gathering and maintaining client data in the CRM and Financial Planning software.
Preparing and updating plans consistent with the Financial Planning process as described by the CFP Board.
Participating in client meetings assisting advisor with meeting content and presentations.
Facilitating the data gathering process while maintaining secured detailed records of client information and documents;
Analyzing client data and preparing financial/action plans.
Developing and preparing implementation materials and paperwork.
Assisting with client onboarding process, plan implementation and account administration.
Firm Related Responsibilities:
Understanding and supporting firm's mission and vision.
Assisting investment team with research and due diligence.
Developing and improving planning processes and procedures
Communicating relevant information to team members to ensure members are able to operate effectively and efficiently
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of financial planning experience.
Series 65 (or willingness to acquire in first year).
Thorough knowledge of eMoney Advisor financial planning software.
Core knowledge of financial planning concepts and financial products.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational, procedural, and project management skills with great attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
