The Relationship Manager has responsibility for retaining the assigned base of existing clients, owning their experience, and growing their overall portfolio and selling new products and services. They are expected to acquire a clear understanding of the client's business and drive growth.
Essential Functions
Accelerate & Grow - Work with an assigned base of clients to collaborate on strategic initiatives and identify cross-sell opportunities to grow partner's portfolio. Create and own account plans that position RCC to facilitate the partner's short and long-term goals. Conduct business reviews with clients to review strategic initiatives, industry trends and overall health of the client's processing environment.
Retain & Analyze - Facilitate renewal conversations through forward-thinking and competitive strategies and create thoughtful proposals to solidify partner retention as a RCC client. Analyze financial metrics and pricing strategies to promote internal awareness to senior leadership and build awareness of partner health.
Nurture & Consult - Develop and foster long-lasting, trusted relationships with strategic players to position RCC as the Partner's strategic advisor and drive client satisfaction. Understand industry best practices and analyze data to consult with partners on how to maximize merchant revenue and their processing experience.
Advocate & Influence - Navigate internal teams on the partner's behalf and garner support to act in the partner's best interest. Drive problem-solving and promote decisions while operating with a sense of urgency.
Learn & Develop - Build and share in-depth industry knowledge as well as knowledge of RCC products and services to effectively communicate value-proposition. Develop a deep understanding of the client's business and provide education and training of RCC tools and resources to drive client satisfaction.
Contract Renewal & Finalization - Oversee the renewal contract review process, including redlining and finalizing contracts. For complex contractual matters, collaborate with legal counsel to ensure accuracy and compliance. Training on contract renewal provided.

Education, Experience and Other Skills
Four years of relevant account management experience
Proficient with Microsoft Suite including Word & PowerPoint
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
Exceptional written and verbal communications and organizational skills
Experience in leading cross functional projects and initiatives
Experience working in a high-growth environment.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
Available to clients during non-traditional business hours if necessary
