We are seeking a qualified Power Delivery Engineering Manager - (Remote) to support our established and growing business for our renewable and commercial energy, high voltage, transmission programs.
Your Role:
• Provide support and strategic thinking for on-going projects addressing engineering concerns of renewable energy (wind power, solar power, battery storage), traditional energy, high voltage, substation, transmission lines, and other types of projects throughout North America.
• Build and manage a team to provided substation and distribution engineering designs for renewable and commercial energy clients.
• Perform business development efforts to grow the practice.
• Responsible charge engineer for associated design deliverables.
• Responsible for resource growth and retention of the group.
• Support client coordination, manage workload, delegate work.
• Perform due diligence and local, state and federal permitting for energy projects.
• Support project development (i.e., work scopes, proposals and costs), compliance strategy development, and represent our clients in negotiations with regulatory agencies and promote a high level of technical competence in our work products.
• Support project administration including subcontracting, invoicing, project financials and managing budgets.
Qualifications:
• At a minimum a B.S. or M.S electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 25 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Detail oriented, with strong technical skills, including data management, analysis, and QA/QC.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, oral presentation, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic thinker, problem-solver, and technical report writer/editor.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
