State Street Wealth Services seeks to enable wealth advisors and their investment managers to achieve better outcomes for their clients and themselves, thereby enabling revenue growth across all areas of State Street.
The CRO for CRD Wealth will contribute to achieving this vision by managing and achieving sales targets, leading client management initiatives and overseeing professional services (onboardings) for CRD Wealth in the following manner:
Leading and oversee all aspects of revenue for CRD Wealth including Relationship Management, Sales, Marketing, Commercializing Partnerships, and Implementations
Building and scaling a substantial, market-leading offering through setting sales targets by segment and geography and formulating sales plans to ensure achievement
Ensuring a high touch engagement model with clients, including regular onsite visits, project status calls and executive engagements
Developing relationships with senior client personnel to gain understanding of client strategy and CRD's alignment to achieving their strategy
Maintaining frequent communication and collaboration with internal client account teams
Establishing long-term, strategic objectives for each client and measure success against account plan goals
Proactively ensuring effective client issue resolution, project delivery, response to information requests, and collaboration with other CRD teams
Collaborating on revenue related initiatives across CRD Wealth Team and Wealth Services
Maintaining awareness of the wealth management market and industry trends and news relevant to CRD and client base
Commercialize strategic partnerships with external partners as they relate to wealth services in coordination with other executives within the organization
Ideal Competencies & Experience
Track record of success in sales, relationship management and implementations
Comprehensive knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory landscape of the wealth management industry
Proven skillset in translation of industry / client themes and trends into actionable strategy, partnering effectively with a wide range of internal and external constituents
A customer orientation which allows him/her to solicit, acquire, and act on information from customers concerning their current and future needs, issues, and challenges
Experience managing a large portfolio of clients and building senior level relationships
Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic business, financial performance and exemplary client satisfaction results, especially as it relates to achieving sales/bookings targets, relationship management and coordinating on implementations
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Undergraduate degree minimum and graduate degree preferred
15+ years of related experience including 10+ years as part of a global leadership team
Proven experience successfully recruiting and building world class teams
Ability to make tough decisions, to change and adapt quickly, while remaining focused on customers and executing business initiatives
Ability to lead, prioritize and execute on multiple, simultaneous priorities and initiatives
Strong management background; ability to work both tactically and strategically
A strong leadership profile coupled with outstanding verbal and written communications.
Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues.
Critical assessment capability -ability to maintain a very high bar and drive excellence in work products, services, hiring, etc.
Salary Range: $225,000 - $337,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
