Opportunity Highlights




Starting Pay: $18/hr




After 90 Days: $18.50/hr




Operator Pay: $0.75/hr




Shift Differential: $1/25/hr



Shift - 4th - Saturday and Sunday + 2-3 other weekdays (day shift)



The Opportunity



Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in drum storage and processing areas at a Tradebe plant, ensuring the proper handling, staging, and processing of materials in compliance with safety and operational standards.



Key Job Responsibilities





  • Safely unload incoming trailers and process various waste streams.

  • Accurately place and locate materials in designated staging or storage areas.

  • Prepare materials for processing operations and perform these operations as needed.

  • Maintain precise tracking of drum storage and movements, updating tracking sheets as required.

  • Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure operational safety and compliance.

  • Perform basic maintenance tasks on forklifts, such as cleaning and adding fluids.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.




Qualifications





  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in operating a forklift.

  • Knowledge of the hazardous waste industry is a plus.

  • Ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents and SOPs.

  • Proficiency in basic mathematical concepts.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to wear a respirator when required (must be clean-shaven to ensure a proper seal).

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.

  • Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for

  • Ability to work on-site as described in the job description

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
