Nouria Energy seeks an experienced and results-driven SR HR Business Partner to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs.

The SR HR Business Partner will lead the HR Business Partners and guide the team to provide comprehensive Human Resources support in performance management, associate relations, onboarding, policy interpretation, and training support, addressing team member relations concerns and supporting the field needs. This role supports all the retail stores and carwash in managing all aspects of HR and requires engagement and willingness to interact across all levels within the field.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Functions as the HRBP for the support center in Savannah, GA.
  • Leads the HRBP team to support all C-store and carwash operations and develops a comprehensive understanding of their business, goals, and challenges.
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the HRBPs in the field.
  • Oversee the department's daily workflow.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations for the HRPB team and support the business's PA process.
  • Leads workforce planning activities and succession planning.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal and State employment laws, regulations, and Nouria Energy policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Investigates high-level employee relations issues in the office and field.
  • Supports the HRPB in providing a thorough and accurate investigative report with appropriate recommendations. Coaches and consults with Corporate/Legal and Operations partners on issue resolution. Guides handling minor/ routine issues. Calibrates when needed for the escalation of more serious matters.
  • Support the onboarding of new team members.
  • Coordinates alignment of business objectives and key results with employees and management.
  • Provides HR guidance and interpretation.
  • Support the Learning and Development department by assisting with hands-on and online learning sessions and explaining complex topics in an understandable and easily applied way.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with team members and members of management to drive team member engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of previous experience in Human Resources, with exposure across all HR functionalities, preferably in the field, retail, or multi-unit environment.
  • BA/BS or comparable HRCI/SHRM Certification.
  • Retail industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on training experience, time management, and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan resources to meet deadlines and goals, and work independently to respond to daily functional needs.
  • Experience dealing with complex employee relations issues (EEO, FLSA, OSHA, etc.), anticipating and identifying problems, and using sound judgment and fact-based analysis to develop effective and efficient solutions.
  • Verbal and written communication skills are necessary to explain complex and confidential information, communicate with all levels of the organization, and provide training.
  • Demonstrated strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), analytical, and strategic thinking skills required.
  • Self-directed and detail-oriented problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
