Part-time Instructional, Theatre Arts at University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota

Job Description:

Salary/Position Classification

• 2666.67 monthly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)


• 20 hours per week


• This position will work onsite our Grand Forks, ND campus.

The Theatre Arts Department in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of North Dakota is seeking a part-time, temporary Director for a 6-week appointment from March 3, 2025 - April 26, 2025.

• Work with design faculty to oversee design of the production


• Participate in auditions and casting


• Direction of rehearsals, tech and dress rehearsals - Unrehearsed Shakespeare
  

• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with faculty,
  staff, and students


• Ability to work with and engage diverse students and colleagues

• MFA Degree in Directing and/or Acting


• Experience directing collegiate theatrical performances


• Published work in the area or Unrehearsed Shakespeare


• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

• At least 5 years working in a college or university theatre arts department
