Duties & Responsibilities
Cleans floors in the following areas: Kitchen, service areas, restrooms, storerooms, and dining rooms
Uses mops and floor machines as required
Sweeps appropriate areas when needed
Breaks down cans and boxes and places them in the appropriate bins
Cleans up broken plates, glassware, and cookware
Replaces and restocks milks when needed
Removes refuse from the following areas of the dining center: kitchen, service areas, restrooms, dining rooms, storerooms, and locker rooms
Cleans carts, tables, and chairs
Rinses and sanitizes garbage cans
Maintains orderliness of the storerooms, coolers, and freezers
Stocks various inventory items in the kitchen, restrooms, and dining rooms: fills soap and towel dispensers and replaces light bulbs
Provide exceptional customer service to our customers

Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older
Able to stand on one's feet for 3-4 hours
Able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to work with the preparation and disposal of fish, poultry, beef, lamb, pork, and other meat products in professional culinary commercial kitchen
Must be able to adhere to all safety and sanitation policies which include removal of all jewelry and piercings (except for a plain wedding bands) while working in our facilities
Hairnets and beard restraints are also a requirement in our food preparation areas
Incumbents should have an optimistic attitude, willingness to learn new skills, high degree of integrity, and a strong work ethic
Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
