What will your job look like?
The Senior Director, Finance is a leader within the MTM Finance organization, reporting to the CFO, with responsibility for contract accounting, billing and collection, financial performance, financial planning and pricing. The Senior Director, Finance provides strategic direction and oversight over the revenue cycle to ensure MTM has the appropriate processes, procedures and controls to eliminate revenue leakage. The Senior Director, Finance, will partner with Leaders throughout the organization to achieve business financial objectives as well as maintain thorough communication with Leaders regarding financial status and strategy.
Location: This position will sit in St. Louis. This role will operate in a hybrid work environment, with employees working in office 2 days a week
What you’ll do:
Responsible for the overall accounting related to revenue and direct cost of sales for all contracts within MTM including allocation methodologies of direct and indirect costs
Lead a team responsible for accounting, billing and contract performance
Foster a culture of performance and financial accountability with your team and operational leaders
Responsible for developing pricing and the associated strategy, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability
Ensure revenue cycle processes and financial documentation are in place at the onset of each contract
Remain up to date on all contract changes/amendments to maintain appropriate billing and accounting
Develop relationships with the appropriate client finance stakeholders with the ability to communicate contract performance and or changes necessary in the contract pricing structure
Develop and maintain KPIs and business dashboards to enable contract performance management and facilitate accountability. Key areas of focus will include revenue, utilization, cost of transportation and other direct costs impacting contract performance
Direct the analysis, interpretation and reporting of financial information for all contracts
Partner with the Senior Director of Reporting to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with GAAP for all contracts
Responsible for the timely collection of accounts receivable, keeping bad debt write-offs to a minimum
Assist with the preparation of the annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts, specific to contract revenue and direct costs
Provide ongoing analysis of variances from budget and assists the CFO in implementing changes needed to achieve budget goals
Provide financial leadership and guidance to Regional Vice President and Program Director
Oversee the completion of contractually required contract reports
Manage client financial audits
Perform other special projects and/or ad hoc analysis as assigned by management
What you’ll need:
Experience, Education & Certifications:
BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or Masters in Accounting or MBA
10+ years’ Experience in an Accounting or Finance Leadership role
Experience in automated financial and accounting reporting systems specifically related to Accounts Receivable
Experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, cost controls and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Experience with financial modeling
Skills:
Strong Knowledge of finance and GAAP and general accounting processes
Strong financial acumen, strategic thinker, and the ability to successfully manage teams
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
Skilled in exercising initiative, judgement, problem-solving and decision-making
Strong communication and presentation skills

Salary Min: $180,000
Salary Max: $200,000
