SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supervising the sanitation operation at the Caseyville facility, ensuring that the production building meets all USDA and internal requirements, and that daily production begins on time. The role also involves ensuring that all Sanitation Team Members possess and demonstrate the knowledge to follow all applicable personal chemical handling and food safety procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Sanitation Supervision
Supervise the sanitation operation at the Caseyville facility.
Ensure the production building meets all USDA and internal requirements.
Ensure all Sanitation Team Members follow personal chemical handling and food safety procedures.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate record-keeping as required.
Handle personnel administration, including timekeeping, scheduling, and discipline.
Manage supply inventory.
Continuous Improvement and Team Participation
Drive continuous cost and quality improvement.
Participate on the plant management team.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in Sanitation or Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA).
Experience: At least 3 plus years sanitation supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment with direct reports required.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills such as checking electronic mail entering data into document templates or creating simple queries.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: 0 - 10%
Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising multiple supervisors and 50+ hourly team members.
Special Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Must reside in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
