Spectrolab, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, and the world's leading merchant supplier of high efficiency multijunction solar cells for spacecraft power systems, seeks a Data Architect to join our Test, Software, and Electronics Engineering team in Sylmar, California to be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing data architecture for databases and data warehouses to support engineering functions and business needs.
Position Responsibilities:
Apply data extraction, data transformation, and data loading techniques to connect large data sets from a variety of sources.
Create data collection frameworks for structured data and unstructured data and solve complex data problems to generate features required by data scientists.
Develop and maintain infrastructure systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) including data access APIs.
Analyze and manage data.
Join a culture of sharing, reuse, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions.
Build repeatable data pipelines across multi and hybrid-cloud environments.
This position is expected to be fully onsite in Sylmar, CA.

Familiarity with semiconductor processing, solar cell devices, material characterization and analytical techniques.
Familiarity with developing or identifying and implementing targeted process automation or other continuous improvement initiatives for both production and production support environments.
Knowledge of statistical analysis, lean principles.
Typical Education & Experience:
Associate (level 2): Typically, 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Mid-level (level 3): Typically, 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Summary pay range:
Associate (level 2): 89,250 - 120,750.
Mid-level (level 3): 113,900 - 154,100.
