Job Summary:
Supports the clinical and educational activities of the Department of Medicine Pulmonary Clinic and outpatient programs. Serves as a program liaison between the Clinics, Department of Respiratory Services and Pulmonary Diagnostic Laboratory. Provides and insures professional respiratory care to patients as directed by the medical staff and in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Minimum of one (1) year of previous hospital experience is required.
Graduate of an accredited two year Respiratory Therapy program is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner is required. Registration with the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
