Completes mobile equipment report at the beginning of the shift, notify Supervisor about any problems
Cleans and blows down forklift at the beginning of the shift
Demonstrates knowledge of forklift rules
Stacks units neatly, with proper crossout placement and in proper rows
Observes for any mechanical problems with forklifts and reports them to the shift Supervisor
Keeps shift’s wood separated on machine center
Keeps Green Veneer warehouse organized
Assists in feeding dryers
Inspects load heights to ensure accuracy and consistency
Properly marks all loads of veneer
Keeps 4x4’ runners picked up off the floor
Sweeps up saw dust and veneer scraps with a push broom
Picks up scraps of veneer with shovel, rake, or by hand
Paints various plant equipment and materials (barriers, framework, guards, etc.)
Follows Company policies, procedures and safety rules
