Fairbanks Morse Defense is seeking a highly motivated Government Compliance Intern to join our team. As an Intern, you will be taking on impactful work while engaging in a dynamic learning experience and working side by side with our team.
General requirements:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and O365 Drive Suites - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Must have access to reliable transportation - work is onsite in Beloit, WI (transportation stipend or reimbursement is possible). Some remote work will be considered depending on the candidate.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to, drug testing, reference verification and background check. Will be required to submit to a post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Learning to read U.S. Government Contracts (no prior experience required)
Learning to identify and capture sections in U.S. Government Contracts such as price and payment methods
Entering data from the U.S. Government Contracts into a simple database (no database experience is required)
Additional learning experiences outside of daily work including trainings, workplace growth activities, and having a dedicated, on-site mentor
Program support with regular progress updates, team building activities and professional guidance
