Veritiv's Internship Program will provide real world experience, team projects, social events, volunteer work and professional development trainings. The internships are full-time, hybrid and run June 2 to August 8, 2025.
Job Purpose:
Our Marketing Intern will work with a team of marketing professionals and provide support for a variety of marketing activities such as strategic business analysis, market and competitive research, as well as assist with tactical marketing projects and activities. This role will interact with many different departments and individuals within the company and will showcase B2B marketing activities and the critical role it plays in advancing a company's business.
Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
• Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
In this role, you will:
• Conduct market analysis on key segments including attractiveness and dynamics of specific markets.
• Collect, analyze, and effectively communicate market trends, customer demands and competitor strategies.
• Aid in developing a product road map for key segments, identify key customer needs and matching to supplier capabilities.
• Interface with Sales to gain insights into how marketing and sales work together and creating an analysis of inputs gained.
• Contribute to development, execution, and reporting of key marketing campaigns.
• Work on special projects for the marketing department.
• Pursuing a business or marketing degree preferred.
• Have an understand of marketing research, marketing strategy and new product development techniques is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.
• Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong planning and organization skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.
• The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree In Progress
