Prime Time Consulting provides clients with expert intelligence analysis services. Our clients include defense contractors, industrial and service corporations, and departments and agencies of the U.S. Federal Government.
We are actively searching for a Proposal Writer, ideally located near our Hanover, MD headquarters. This position will be a mixture of remote and in-office work.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Lead the development and delivery of business proposals, working closely with executives, business development, and other departments
Manage tasks to include Requests for Proposal (RFP) Analysis, Kick-Off Meetings, Status Calls, Proposal Development, Proposal Writing, Color Reviews, etc.
Manage the full life cycle of RFP analysis, response development, and submission.
Manage and/or write the technical proposal sections, RFI responses, white papers, resumes, past performance citations, or other proposal narratives in response to solicitations.
Interpret RFP requirements for compliance mapping.
Develop proposal templates, outlines, compliance matrices, resource assignments, production checklists, and bid and proposal budgets.
Develop and maintain the proposal schedule, and report on progress.
Researching and analyzing customer requirements, developing technical and cost proposals, and helping to craft competitive strategies
Coordinate, prepare for, and participate in proposal meetings and reviews.
Ensure submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with RFP requirements
Other tasks as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree preferred
At least three (3) years previous experience supporting proposals for government contractors, preferably with small businesses
Preferred understanding of cybersecurity industry
Knowledge of RFP life cycle management and federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS).
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
Thorough, detail oriented, and organized, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize.
Excellent multi-tasking abilities – able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with solid administrative experience
Proactive, excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) required
The ability to work as a team member and independently with little direction
Flexibility to commute to HQ in Hanover, MD as needed, which may include a few days to weeks at a time, as well as work long days when proposal due dates are approaching
Ability to interact successfully with people at all levels, including senior executives, teaming partners, etc.
Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000
