RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Bethesda, MD that is seeking a Controller.

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Controller to recruit and lead our client accounting team. The ideal candidate will oversee accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), collections, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage the accounting team


• Oversee AP, AR, and collections processes


• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting


• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures


• Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial goals

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• 5+ years overseeing accounting functions and processes


• Proven experience in accounting and team leadership


• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, and financial reporting


• Excellent organizational and communication skills


• Proficiency in accounting software and tools


• Management experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
