Senior Program Manager (BTL)
Role Definition:
This is a Senior Program Management position working in the role of ERP Business Transformation Lead (BTL). As a BTL in the Enterprise Applications division at Caterpillar, you are accountable for independently executing ERP implementation programs and will perform program/project workshops, development sessions, gate reviews, and other program related meetings. Additionally, adherence to divisional and corporate governance processes and methodologies will be required.
What You Will Do:
Advanced in Project Management tools & processes. Facilitate projects, lead chartering sessions, develop/ validate network diagrams, lead integration and project compression sessions. Mentor and train other Project Managers and Coordinators.
Works directly with Group CIO teams and Business Unit leadership at manufacturing facilities and supporting organizations across regions to define major transformation project charters. The BTL facilitates across diverse teams of employees and contracted resources providing consulting services to define, design, develop, and implement as defined by the charter. The incumbent provides guidance and ensures results meet customer quality expectations.
Anticipates complex business problems or process optimization opportunities, identifies alternatives, and recommends the best solutions working closely with global functional teams and Enterprise Architecture.
Coach and direct teams on comprehensive Change Management process for the deployments at targeted sites by working closely with global functional teams and Enterprise Architecture.
Coach and direct teams on comprehensive Change Management process for the deployments at targeted sites by working closely with GCIO Engagement Managers and the site leadership teams. Evaluate the current and desired states of change across structure, process, people and culture. Determine impact of the delta state including integration with other impacting changes. Build key role maps identifying sponsors, change agents, and targets of change. Analyze the critical variables for change, history of changes, culture, and resistance.
Consider interrelationships of the functional areas involved, assure timely communications among related areas to meet changing business needs of multiple customers and corporate requirements.

What You Have:
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives. Communicates reporting requirements; creates monitoring and control mechanisms.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationship with clients, vendors and peers.
Planning, Tactical and Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
Education:
Degree or equivalent experience desired
Top Candidates Will Have:
Prior ERP deployments or major business transformation related programs delivery experience.
Working knowledge of Core Manufacturing or Supply-Chain Applications.
PMP or 6-Sigma Black Belt certification.
Functional experience in ERP applications.
APICS CPIM /CSCP certification.
Additional Info :
The primary locations for this position are Peoria, IL, Dallas, TX or Nashville, TN.
This position requires you to work in the office three times a week.

Summary Pay Range: $142,080.00 - $213,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
