POSITION SUMMARY: Our Redmond-based client is looking for an AI Engineer for a Hybrid based position in Redmond WA (3 to 4 days on-site).
We are seeking a Machine Learning (ML) applications generalist with experience across a range of ML/AI algorithms to join our initiative focused on decarbonizing datacenters. This role involves choosing optimal algorithms for various applications, constructing training and inference pipelines using Client’s internal ML tools, and collaborating on the development of new tools.
Responsibilities
Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects.
Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data
Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
Implement system software and customize to client requirements
Prepare the detailed software specifications and test plans
Code new programs to client’s specifications and create test data for testing
Modify existing programs to new standards and conduct unit testing of developed programs
Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
Provide quality assurance reviews
Perform post-implementation validation of software and resolve any bugs found during testing.
Select and implement suitable ML/AI algorithms tailored to specific application scenarios in a datacenter decarbonization context.
Build, deploy, and maintain training and inference pipelines using Client’s internal ML tools.
Collaborate with internal teams, potentially utilizing or contributing to new tools in development.
Qualifications
Must have minimum 3+ years’ of Programming experience (in multiple programming languages; C, C++, Python and etc.).
Must have minimum 2+ years’ Experience with Machine Learning algorithms (such as: large language models, generative machine learning, Bayesian learning, reinforcement learning, active learning and etc.).
Must have minimum 2+ years’ experience with Demonstrated code documented skills.
Should have Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
Should have a solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Large systems software design and development experience.
Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems.
Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Should have background in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Proven experience in working with a variety of ML/AI algorithms, with the ability to determine the best-fit models for different scenarios.
Strong skills in building and deploying ML pipelines for training and inference.
Familiarity with Client’s ML tools or readiness to learn and adapt quickly.
Strong problem-solving and generalist approach to AI/ML applications.
Experience working within large-scale cloud infrastructures or data centers is a plus.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively across teams, fostering a supportive
and productive team environment.
Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, including
technical concepts, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ambiguity Management: Skilled at navigating uncertainty, making decisions with
limited information, and adapting solutions as requirements evolve.
Agility and Adaptability: Able to pivot quickly based on new information or shifting
project requirements, while maintaining high performance and focus.

A competitive pay range of $80/hr- $85/hr (depending on experience).
Location: Hybrid - Redmond WA (3 to 4 days On-site).
15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
8 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
