Responsibilities

BeyondSoft, is hiring for a Business Development Director within our Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. This is a remote role with 50% travel required. We require this person to be on the East Coast, preferably in NYC, NJ, CT or Greater Boston area.

  • New logo acquisition and territory development
  • Owning and hitting/exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory / Vertical
  • Responsible for identifying and closing new deals in the Healthcare & Life Sciences space
  • Be the face of Beyondsoft to the market and help position Beyondsoft as an industry leader and trusted advisor
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Leverage Beyondsoft ecosystem of capabilities across technology practices, industry verticals and service lines to develop solutions that address the client’s business problem.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience, with strong sales experience in service industry
  • Understanding of Global Delivery Model (offshore/outsourcing) and large deal experience
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant business development experience selling IT services in Tier ½ IT services organization
  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with CXOs of leading organization
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentation
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • History of achieving/overachieving sales targets
  • Experience in S/W contract negotiations
  • Experience with competitor mapping and SWAT analysis
  • Ability to define specific to ground-breaking solutions within abstract environment
  • Well networked within the IT services industry and HCLS vertical
  • Ability to identify upcoming RFPs / deals by networking with key client partner
  • Work remotely but open to travel up 50% of time

  • A competitive pay range of $150,000+ (depending on experience).
  • Overall compensation to also include KPI based bonus, sales targets & commission
