Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Job Role and Responsibility: Provide legal services to our swap dealer businesses in the Corporate and Investment Banking division of Wells Fargo, including Sales and Trading, Credit, Operations and Compliance functions. Provide legal advice and counsel. Independently render opinions, consult with and advise clients on commercial, legal, and regulatory matters, including those involving the CFTC, NFA, SEC and FINRA. Support our derivatives activities for Wells Fargo as an end user. Report to the head of the Legal Department's Derivatives and Foreign Exchange Section. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 2 days per week. Position must appear in person at the location listed.

Required Qualifications:
Position requires a Juris Doctor degree and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or legal experience with a major law firm, securities regulatory agency, or in-house law department.
Specific skills required:
Eight (8) years of experience representing firms in capital markets and investment banking activities;
Experience with derivatives;
Strong knowledge of global derivatives markets regulation;
Ability to analyze complex regulations and advise on impacts to the firm; and
Eligible to become licensed or to register as in-house counsel and practice law in the state of New York
Salary: $212,826 - $300,000
