The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking highly-motivated Supplier Quality Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the Supplier Quality team located in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position supports a combination of defense and commercial derivative aircraft and will be responsible for developing inspection plans and issuing corrective action plans to suppliers. Responsibilities include planning and conducting audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products. This position provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Successful candidates need to have the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and organizations. Candidates will need experience managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with general direction
Position Responsibilities:
Level 3:
Reviews supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to determine the applicable quality requirements for suppliers.
Issue and review corrective actions to suppliers for nonconformances
Program liaison
Issue and review corrective actions to external suppliers
Process supplier requested material review
Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.
Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements in Receiving Inspection.
Coordinates and supports process improvements.
Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work
Accomplishes tasks through formal channels and informal networks
Level 4:
Reviews supplier statements of work and purchase contracts to determine the applicable quality requirements for suppliers.
Ability to obtain Material Review Board (MRB) Authority
Experience leading people and teams
Monitors supplier quality related activities and reports issues.
Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements in Receiving Inspection.
Participates in internal audits of supplier quality processes.
Lead root cause correct actions with suppliers
Coordinates and supports process improvements.
Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
Resolves routine issues and concerns.
Accomplishes tasks through formal channels and informal networks
Understands and shapes the cultures of organizations by utilizing cross functional collaboration
This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Level 4: 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
More than 3 years of experience in a team leadership role
More than 5 years of experience of Supply Chain experience
More than 5 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)
More than 10 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Bachelor's degree or higher

Level 3:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
Level 4:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:

Summary pay range for mid-level (Level 3): USD 82,450 - 111,550
Summary pay range for senior (Level 4): USD 96,050 - 129,950
